MediaCityUK

Centered around a waterfront public realm area twice the size of London’s Trafalgar Square, MediaCityUK is a beautiful waterside destination. Complete with bars, cafés and restaurants there's an emerging cultural flavour behind Salford's newest landmark. The development’s piazza has also been designed to accommodate over 5,000 people, making it a natural focal point both day and night and a hotspot for future events.

In one of the most exciting developments the city has seen, MediaCityUK welcomes both the BBC and ITV to their new homes and even plays host to its own orchestra - the BBC Philharmonic.

But it's not just about business - a new network of tightly knit streets, squares and boulevards will cascade down into a huge waterfront piazza.

A major restoration of the building from 2009-2011 means that on a visit to the Hall you can:
− Wander back through time and soak up the atmosphere in our re-created room settings.
− Discover the story of the Hall and the people who lived here in our hands-on family friendly exhibitions.
− Find out what was cooked in a Tudor kitchen.
− Explore and enjoy nationally significant features.
− Relax in the beautifully landscaped gardens.
− Enjoy a coffee in our new refreshment area.
